What inspired you to launch your own website?

The need for multiple singles to meet face to face.

2007, this site.

How did you decide on a name for your website?

We are a New York based company and you can find love through us as fast as a "New York Minute."

What makes your website different from other, similar offerings?

Our strength is in targeting New Yorkers through daily advertisements, online groups, and word of mouth. The result is a completely energetic and fun-filled event where strangers can become fast friends and more.

What is your eventual goal? (To sell it, keep it for income, secure a book or other mainstream media deal?)

To keep it for income.

How does your investment of time and money balance against your success?

Slim margin of profit.

If you had an unlimited development budget for development, how would you change your site?

I would advertise more.

We have a database and necessary infrastructure for unlimited growth.

Promoting to target audiences, such as Gays, Jewish, Latino, etc. categories.

How has running your website differed from your expectations?

Running the website has been quite easy. Running the events is harder.

How long have you run the site already, and how long will you continue to keep it up if you don't enjoy big gains in traffic, income or popularity?

One year, and not sure, we use income from our regular jobs to run the company for now.
