Please give us a short summary of your website?

We carry a line of sexy lingerie, clubwear and shoes. We try find vendors who carry all sizes and styles for different sites.

What inspired you to launch your own website?

We launched our site to be a place where people could go and get items that they may not want to be seen getting in public. Around our area in many times the places to get some fun lingerie are not places you want to be seen going to. Our site was set up to be fun yet we are serious about taking care of our customers. Not to mention the fact that a lot of stores won't go the extra to stock all sizes. We always try to offer all sizes as long as we can get them from a vendor for total customer service.

When did you launch your first website, and what was it?

We launched siren song lingerie first a few years ago and had a few off shoots but have stuck with our first theme.

How did you decide on a name for your website?

We wanted something that captured what we thought lingerie was about to be playful and tempting. I liked how the femme fatale legend of the siren evolved over the centuries. The "Siren Song" the irresistable call would be a good match for lingerie being something to attract attention in a mesmerizing way like the Song of the Siren.

What makes your website different from other, similar offerings?

Though alot of people sell lingerie we try to find different vendors and have had 2 or 3 supplying different items over time, so we're not stuck to one brand though we keep vendors who have been good to us and our customers. We've thrown out non performers. We also love to communicate with people as much as they'd like without becoming a spammer. So communication is something we pride ourselves on. You will know when your order is coming and when it will be there in most cases.

What is your eventual goal? (To sell it, keep it for income, secure a book or other mainstream media deal?)

We would love to be as known as possible as company people can come to for our products and know they will not get ripped off.

How does your investment of time and money balance against your success?

We are still growing right now so we're not ready to buy an island and retire. Its taken alot of time but its a labor of love

If you had an unlimited development budget for development, how would you change your site?

We'd probably add more fun interactive product media. Movies, voice overs, maybe some big promotions.

If your site got really big, really quickly, would you be able to keep up with the demand?

Yes, no problem we've got the people to handle growth.

What unexpected costs and headaches have you had to deal with?

Advertising and learning that its more than just putting up a site to get a web business going

What has been your biggest challenge?

Learning what you need to learn after you know everything. Probably also backing off being a perfectionist to focus on the whole site and not just one segment.

What method has been most successful for promoting your website?

We have had probably the most luck with social media sites and pay per click. But we are now learning more about organic SEO so we're hoping that will bring even more eyes on the site.

How has running your website differed from your expectations?

No we knew it would be work but maybe if anything its the little extras you have to put into it to make it better.

How long have you run the site already, and how long will you continue to keep it up if you don't enjoy big gains in traffic, income or popularity?

We've had it for about two years and have no plans to take it down. We love what we do and this is what we will do
