When did you start your website and why?

I started my website in 9/2006. I was tired of paying out to try and meet people on online dating sites. I wanted to offer this service free to everyone

The site is always free for real singles. I keep a clean site. No spam or nudity here.

What has been the most difficult part of creating and running your website?

Marketing is the hardest part. It has grown fast with alot of hard work.

What has been the easist part of operating your website?

The members being very helpfull

What was your biggest mistake?

Using a shared server on startup was very slow and problematic.

I now run my own dedicated server that has been doing a great job running the site.

Who maintains your website and why?

I maintain the website by myself. with occational help from the host on technical server issues.

Tell us how your business has benefitted from your website?

The profits have not been alot with the click ads as my only source of income.. But it has been enough to cover expenses and continue the rapid growth

What are your views on ecommerce and the future of the internet?

I believe there will be no sites that charge for membership only to sell a physical product not a web service

What are your views on Search Engine Optimization (SEO)?

Seo is tough even though I have learned alot getting top ranked for my category is very tough.

They have helped but not as much as my marketing strategies.
